Vintage brutalist lounge chair set, 1960s

Two impressive mid-century armchairs with yellow upholstery. The design impresses with its brutalist honesty and high-quality craftsmanship and materials. The frame consists of solid wooden elements with taut straps. The construction is visible and comprehensible. The intersections of the elements are elaborately staged. The backrest is shaped and covered with leather straps. The wood is dark-stained and shows a wonderful patina. The cushions are removable and have been reupholstered with yellow canvas fabric. The yellow cushions create a harmonious contrast with the dark wood of the frame. The armchairs are in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. The covers have been renewed.
