Louis Philippe andirons

Pair of antique brass, bronze, and cast iron firedogs. Height: 31 cm. Maximum width of the base of an andiron: 10.5 cm. Depth: 41 cm. The andiron head is composed of two parts. The lower part, with sharp angles, is made of bronze; the upper part, with rounded shapes, is made of thick brass. The cast iron trestles, which support the logs, have a usable depth of 33 cm; the rest is hidden by the brass. Very good condition. Weight: 5.5 kg.
