The vase is in very good condition, no major damage. However, it should be noted that there are slight enamel losses on the outer edge of the neck, as well as a very slight hair starting from the edge of the neck also, inside the vase, and which is not crossing. It is not visible on the outside of the piece. The ceramic, a very beautiful turned stoneware with stylized decoration painted freehand, is of beautiful quality and comes from the famous Elchinger factory, located in France in Soufflenheim in Alsace in the Bas-Rhin. The piece is marked on the back with a point under enamel, Elchinger fils and numbered 512/19, which corresponds to the references of shape and decoration. The vase was made by Léon Elchinger (1871-1942), at the beginning of the 20th century, during the Art Deco period.
