Large antique wooden bowl

Magnificent large antique solid wood trough, probably of Provençal origin, handcrafted. It has been treated with xylophene as it was quite worm-eaten, then polished with natural wax. Its beautiful size makes it a lovely decorative object on the floor, on a console, a workbench, or a large table. Diameter at the widest point 50.5 cm, interior 41 cm, height 12 cm, weight 4.5 kg.
