Two-tone wicker basket

This charming two-color wicker basket, slightly flared, will be perfect for going to the market but will also find many uses in the house: knitting basket, storage for cosmetics in the bathroom, for socks in the dressing room or slippers in the entrance, or even a basket for the cat's nap! It was made by a very gifted basket maker about ten years ago, his baskets are very solid, especially the handle (sometimes a weak point in certain baskets) very well “secured” and very solid because it is made up of a large diameter strand surrounded by finer light strands. This basket will still be there in fifty years, that's for sure! It's still very clean, it hasn't been used much (because I have so many that I can't use them all!), I dusted it with a brush. No broken strands, just some abrasions from origin or use. It measures 23 cm in height at the edge, approximately 36 cm in height at the top of the handle, it has a diameter of 26 cm at the bottom and 37 cm at the edge.
