Small vintage copper and onyx table lighter, gold-plated metal and copper, 1960s-1970s

Charming little vintage table lighter from the 1960s-1970s, composed of a natural onyx base with beautiful pale green, beige, white, and rust-colored layers, and a copper-plated metal/patinated brass-finish mechanism. The mechanism is untested, but not jammed; it may need rewinding before use. A lovely, authentic decorative piece, perfect as a desk or living room accessory. Good overall condition; the metal was originally gilded copper, with some patina marks. The metal receptacle in the onyx is quite oxidized, but not noticeable. The onyx is clean, with only a few very discreet nicks.
