Cantilever tubular chairs, model B20, Tecta, 1980s The B20 chair by Tecta is a classic example of a cantilever structure, identifiable by its steel tube base without rear legs, giving it a light appearance and flexibility in the seat. With its cantilever structure and woven seat, the B20 by Tecta gives the impression of floating. Its taut, almost graphic silhouette reinterprets the Bauhaus heritage with a very contemporary sobriety. The structure is made of chrome-plated tubular steel, with a seat and backrest made of durable synthetic weaving. Two of the chairs show signs of wear on the seat (underneath for one of them) that do not affect their sturdiness and are very minimally visible (see photos).
