An endearing personality born in namur on june 4, 1921 in rue saint-jean, odette dijeu is an endearing personality who has marked the heart of her city with her artistic presence for nearly sixty years! Her boutique-workshop has welcomed thousands of namur residents and tourists from all over the world. A student of albert dandoy at the école des beaux-arts de namur, she could have made a career as a painter, in the pure tradition of her master of whom she is a faithful disciple. But it was ceramics for which she obtained first prize with great distinction in 1952 in the class of marise rogister, who then guided her whole life.
