Stella's story begins with the "indislocable" chair in 1922 with Leon de Ruisseau. The latter specializes in the manufacture of chairs, a common but complex piece of furniture in its manufacture. He launches the "indisocable chair", whose particularity lies in the bolting of the most implemented assemblages. The idea was a success, and Stella's collections, made from black mountain beech, were sold throughout France and North Africa. From art deco to contemporary design to all so-called "modern" periods, Stella's archives cover all the design trends of the 20th century. These Stella chairs are in superb condition and feature their beautiful original green and brown patina in places that have been touched thousands of times over time.
