70's Orange Ceramic and Burlap Lamp

Orange is the key shade in vintage decor. This lamp is characteristic of the interior design of the 70s. The combination of the colored enameled ceramic sphere and the silver chrome is typical of the creations of this period, aiming to marry technological innovation and visual warmth. The cylindrical lampshade is made of natural burlap, a textured material that softens the light and adds an organic dimension to the lamp. This natural texture balances the metallic elements and the bright color of the base. It bears traces of use on the base whose silver coating is flaking without this disturbing the visual. The lampshade also shows traces of time including a small orange trace, but most are mainly on the inside.
