A stoneware sheep, approximately 20 cm from nose to tail, constructed with soft, rounded volumes and a slightly comical beak-like snout that also serves as a pouring spout — it has been designed for use, not just admiration. The body is finished with a dry white glaze, textured with a sponge, over warm brown terracotta, allowing the colour to show through unevenly in vertical streaks, resembling the sheep's wool. Standing on four small unglazed feet, it possesses the discreet and slightly absurd charm that defines Scandinavian studio ceramics of the time — animals treated as sculptural exercises rather than sentimental figurines.
