Set of Mid-Century Modern Fanett Armchairs, Denmark, 1950s

Vintage Mid-Century Modern Scandinavian Design 'Fanett' Style Armchair set of 2, Denmark 1950s. In the style of Ilmari Tapiovaara for Edsby Verken. This set includes handmade birch and black lacquer spindle-back armchairs with curved backs. Slight differences in the width of the curved back indicate their handcrafted nature. Both chairs are in good, used original condition with normal wear and patina consistent with their age and use. Each chair measures approximately 78.5 cm X 61 cm (height X width) with a depth of 46 cm. A timeless example of Danish furniture from the 1950s.
