This superb antique FONTANGES pitcher is made of Sarreguemines earthenware. It is a large and delightful jug: it features a decoration of country bouquets and ribbon bows. From the "Fontanges" model, the decoration is screen-printed in blue. This rare piece is signed "Fontanges U&Cie Sarreguemines". In beautiful condition, it measures 11.5 cm in diameter X 29 cm in height. I note a hairline or crack on one edge.
