Wooden hat trunk

Beautiful hat trunk circa 1900. Wooden structure covered with an oiled fabric in burgundy hues. A thick leather handle on the underside of the trunk makes it easy to carry. Wooden reinforcements curved and studded as well as metal angles. The decorative (and historical!) interest of this object lies as much in its "trunk" side as in its labels, testimonies of its travels. The trunk is in its juice, many blows and tears of the fabric. The interior is fully cardboard and, rarely, still has its removable basket. Ideal as a side table or bar. The big question now, having acquired this trunk in my village in var, is whether it will return to its original address, "the capital" and more precisely the 17th. I don't own the keys. The trunk has been waxed. Weight 6kg.
