Shell lounge chair by Miroslav Navratil for Vertex, 1960

A shell armchair by navratil with the original upholstery in stunning colors and patina. The fabric upholstery in various shades of green with brown stripes shows slight signs of wear but has lost none of its appeal. The back of the armchair features a dark green fabric that completes the harmonious color scheme. The wooden frame shows slight signs of wear on the feet. The shell chair was made from a fiberglass shell by the vertex company. The chair was designed by czech designer miroslav navratil in the 1960s. He became one of the most important representatives of czech furniture design and also designed several pieces of furniture for public spaces.
