Mid-century modern "abstract in blue" swedish vintage abstract mixed media painting, framed

A small yet very impactful mixed media composition with abstract qualities. Painted in a semi-abstract manner and with a strong focus on colour and brushwork, we can perhaps make out what appears to be three figures crossing a bridge over a body of water. Although the artist has worked with a restrained colour palette, the intense use of blue that takes up the centre of the painting is the most prominent colour that commands our attention. Long sweeping brushstrokes have been rhythmically executed, and overall the painting is very well balanced and evokes a very satisfying sense of calm. This is a mixed media on board, consisting pastel, gouache, watercolour and oil. Both the painting and frame are both in very good vintage condition. The painting is housed behind glass.
