Magnificent set of 9 antique deep plates made of fine porcelain, from the famous factory in Châtres-sur-Cher (Loir-et-Cher). Stamped on the back: "Genuine Porcelain of Chartres-sur-Cher, in paste and glaze." This retro tableware from the 1940s-1950s was made with kaolin from Limoges, giving it a whiteness and delicacy. Style: Classic, elegant, and timeless. Design: Scalloped edge and delicate silver geometric frieze (platinum decoration) in a chevron/braid pattern.
