Late 19th-century terrestrial globe. Napoleon III style globe on a blackened wood stand, made by IKELMER Paris, publisher and manufacturer of globes. Paper map after R. Barbot. Note some wear in places and a crack in the sphere (see photos). The globe remains sturdy and easy to handle. Height 50 cm, diameter 24 cm.
