Black and red Murano glass vase by Nason & Moretti, Art Deco carafe

Antique black Murano blown glass vase with a red base, dating from the 1930s. This handcrafted piece is attributed to Nason & Moretti, the renowned glassworks founded in 1923 in Murano (Venice). Originally, this vase was part of a liqueur set created by Nason & Moretti; this particular model is actually the original decanter from the set (see last photo). Lacking its original stopper, it now enjoys a second life as a decorative vase. It is in good condition, with no cracks or chips. There are a few visible scratches consistent with the age and history of the piece, which are difficult to photograph due to the reflections on the black glass (see last photos). Height: 17 cm. Diameter at widest point: 9.5 cm. Base diameter: 7.5 cm. Weight: 400 grams.
