Edwardian office chair 1910 in leather and carved oak

We are delighted to offer for sale this magnificent Edwardian office chair from around 1910, fully restored, in hand-dyed brown leather with a hand-carved English oak frame. This chair is very comfortable with a tapered and rolled back; the leather is a thick saddle leather with an authentic aged patina. The restoration includes a leather wash, six hand-dyes, antiquing, and sealing. The oak frame has been washed and French polished. The dimensions are: Height: 86 cm, Width: 57.5 cm, Depth: 58.5 cm, Seat height: 47 cm. Please note that all measurements are taken at the widest point. The item is in good condition, with wear consistent with age and use. Please refer to the detailed images for the condition. It is recommended to regularly wax the leather to prevent moisture loss. The hand-dyed leather should not be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods to avoid drying out and discolouration.
