Unique and authentic piece, this superb small antique window made of solid wood comes directly from the kasbahs of southern Morocco, in the Atlas region and Ouarzazate. A true witness to traditional Moroccan architecture, it illustrates Berber craftsmanship. Entirely handmade, it features an upper part adorned with a double pointed arch finely carved with chiselled geometric patterns. Its lower part reveals an elegant moucharabieh work composed of interlacing and openwork cutouts, originally designed to filter light and promote air circulation. The window retains its original system with two functional solid shutters, mounted on traditional wooden pivots. The wood offers a beautiful natural patina, irregular and authentic, shaped by time, with marks and roughness that enhance its antique character. Height: 58 cm. Width: 43 cm. Frame thickness: 5 cm. In good overall condition, solid structure. An antique object showing signs of time and natural variations in the wood, elements that testify to its authenticity and history.
