André Arbus attributed neoclassical armchairs metal bronze velvet 1940

These elegant Monsieur and Madame armchairs by André Arbus will undoubtedly add a touch of French neoclassical chic to any room in your space. These seats were typically placed in the living room, one for Madame and one for Monsieur. With a black metal structure, tapered legs, slightly sabre at the back, bronze sabots, and rosettes at the front, these armchairs are wonderful examples of French neoclassicism by André Arbus. They have been fully restored and reupholstered in light coral cotton velvet. The dimensions of the Madame armchair are width 60 cm X depth 66 cm X height 83 cm X seat height 45 cm, and those of the Monsieur armchair are width 60 cm X depth 62 cm X height 89 cm X seat height 50 cm.
