Art Deco tea tray glass and silver metal 30s

This splendid tea tray is almost 100 years old since it dates from the early 30s. Completely art deco, it joins the themes of predilections of the movement, such as the representation of wildlife. Here, a heron drinking. The black background and the dominant gold color are also part of the color codes that we find a lot in the 30s. We like details such as the wave on the surface of the water, the reeds, the wader's dress in which we see mother-of-pearl inlays. The structure of the metal top is beautiful, geometric, design.
