Multiple woven registers move across the face of this piece. A muted blue field holds angular zoomorphic forms on one side, a narrow botanical guard stripe with three stacked flower sprigs runs through the center, and a deep indigo ground on the other side carries a hexagonal vine cartouche framing a large lobed floral medallion. The interplay of tonal blues gives the piece quiet depth without breaking its handmade rhythm. Size: 16 X 16 inches / 40 X 40 cm. Cover only, insert not included.
