This charming double glazed ceramic cup is typical of vallauris pottery in the 50s and 60s with its shape of leaves topped with a lemon, and its beautiful bright colors. This object can be used as an original cup on a summer table to present some aperitif cookies or empty pocket in an entrance, or why not receive the soaps in a bathroom. The stamp underneath indicates that it is a creation of albert ferlay in vallauris, who was known there since the 50s for his burlesque and funny ceramics. This object is in good general condition, no crack, but has some marks of its age and use: small scratches numerous but not very visible in the bottom of the cups and 6 small gaps on the enamelling on the ends of the leaves, 2 are invisible because placed under the leaves, the other 4 are a little more visible, without jumping to the eyes. They can also be easily restored, masked because they are not shards of the ceramic itself, just small gaps on the surface of the colored enamelling. This object measures 38 cm in length, 19 cm in width, 6.5 cm in height and weighs about 800 g.
