A mix and match set of eight white, limoges plates and dishes. Classic "jeanne d’arc" nordic/french country style crockery for a simple, scandinavian look. They are mis-matched and vary slightly from each other. Some have a fluted edge, whilst others have a smooth edge. The borders also vary slightly, some have "grape vine and pears", some "strawberries and leaves", there are also "cherries and "lemons" borders, some have more defined leaves, all the patterns are in relief and very tactile. These plates look great with any table setting as their clean, fresh look gives them a timeless sophistication. They are all in amazing condition, with no chips or cracks. They are all marked "philippe deshoulieres, porcelaine de limoges, france" or "royal limoges, riviera." one is stamped or "lierre sauvage, france" The set consists of two large dinner plates, measuring 26.5cm/ 10½" and 26cms / 10¼" diameter. One medium dinner plate, measuring 25cms / 9¾" diameter. A bowl, measuring 22.5cms/ 9" diameter. Two salad/starter plates measuring 22cms/ 8¾" diameter and two tea/side plates measuring 18.5cms / 7¼" diameter. Wonderfully tactile and subtly elegant, they are stylishly understated. Altogether they weigh 3.5kgs/ 7.7 lbs. ...et voila!...
