Set of 3 stackable metal Art Prog chairs – 1950s. Charming set of 3 stackable outdoor metal chairs, produced by Art Prog in the 1950s in Gray, Haute-Saône. Often compared to the famous Tolix chair (without being one), these chairs are an authentic and equally emblematic alternative to post-war French industrial furniture. Renowned for its robustness, this chair – sometimes called the “Toledo chair” – was used extensively by brewers, who supplied it to bars and cafes as part of their promotional activities. It was also found in many municipalities, particularly in schools or community halls, for its exceptional solidity and very good outdoor performance. 🔧 These three examples have been carefully restored in our workshop: structure cleaned, checked and ready for a new life, while retaining their character and vintage patina. 💺 Seat height: 46 cm. 🌦️ Ideal for a patio, in a garden or around an industrial-style kitchen table – these stackable chairs combine functionality and retro charm.
