Pair of Blond Mahogany Bergères, Art Deco – 1940

Pair of blond mahogany armchairs from the art deco period. Each shepherdess has an enveloping gondola backrest, fitted with a mahogany band, carved in the center with a decoration of flowers and foliage. High protruding armrests rest on fluted, bullet-shaped front legs. The rear legs face outwards for added stability. The structure is in perfect condition, however the tapestry and seat are original. ******** period: 1940 excellent condition after restoration in our workshop original seat and tapestry.
