Unique Scandinavian Modern Gourd-Shaped Beige Vase, Sweden 1960s

This Scandinavian modern vase, crafted in Sweden during the 1960s, features a unique gourd shape with a bulbous body and slightly flared lip. Made from reddish clay, it is predominantly covered in a creamy beige glaze with freely dripping accents and dark brown brushstroke-like blurs. The beige glaze stops 2-3 cm above the base, while a glossy transparent glaze extends to the bottom. The vase includes a protruding ring in the middle and another on the upper part. Dimensions: Height 23.5 cm, Diameter 10 cm. Condition: Good, with wear consistent with age and use, including a few unglazed areas on the bottom ring.
