French vintage oil painting, signed G. Masuyer

Beautiful french vintage oil painting, signed g. Masuyer. It represents a beautiful bouquet of poppies in different colours. The painter's decision as to the orientation of the painting is curious. For me, it should be a painting with a horizontal orientation, but the artist decided to sign the painting with a vertical orientation. We will respect him, of course. It is in very good vintage condition, with a small loss of paint near the stems of the bouquet. The montparnasse frame has a small touch in the upper right corner. With the frame, it measures 41.5 cm wide, 32.5 cm high and 5 cm deep. The painting alone measures 33 cm wide and 23 cm high.
