Art deco secretary circa 1920

Splendid secretary of the art deco period around 1920. Very nice model entirely in walnut and walnut bramble veneer. It consists of a lower part opening through 2 doors with a shelf adjustable in height on 3 levels (useful area 110x38x55 cm high) and an upper part with a niche on either side of a swing secretary containing 2 drawers in speckled maple veneer and different niches (office area 65x50 cm). The wrists, locks, key, compass and screws are made of brass. The cabinet is 115 cm wide, 45 cm deep and 131 cm high. In perfect condition, we note just a tiny veil of the secretary's door which requires to push it well to lock but which of course is not noticeable aesthetically. Superb quality with an extra patina, this beautiful piece of furniture of a crazy class will easily find its place in a large entrance or as an extra office for teleworkers sensitive to the beautiful.
