Wonderful chaise longue, model LC4 with nice dark brown and white spotted ponyskin hide, designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand for Cassina. The chaise Longue was born from the inspiration of the three architects who wanted to design a comfortable home furniture, where every person could rest, even without sleeping, relaxing the head, shoulders, back and legs. Initially designed in 1928, the chaise longue was only serially produced from the 1960s, and would become a design icon over the years. This particular model with serial number 22946 comes from the 1980s. The chrome-plated tubular steel structures lies in the black metal frame, the headrest has the original black leather upholstery, the mattress is upholstered with the original brown and white spotted pony skin, which is in excellent condition. The chaise longue LC4 by Le Corbusier has a variable inclination and can be positioned in various poses, this allows greater comfort and a perfect anatomical shape of the body during rest.
