Solid brass candle holder with engraved patterns

Superb pair of antique candle holders dating from XX century in solid brass and chiseled patterns including engraved. * A very beautiful patina well gilded with very light reddish colors that confirms the presence of copper in the brass especially at the level of the bobèche of the candlestick. There is the presence of a natural oxidation of brass with deposits rather concentrated on the base between patterns. There are also traces of greenish oxidation inside the binet which also remains a natural oxidation but this oxidation is not invasive. For my part I do not take the initiative to clean at the risk of damaging it anyway impossible to get rid of it with a simple cloth and water. * The two candle holders are almost identical, this also confirms that they were made in the same place but some differences in the patterns is visible by the craftsmanship.
