B&B Italia Maxalto - Maxalto TITANES Buffet Credenza - 9942 from the Apta Collection, Designer: Antonio Citterio The buffet was purchased from the B&B Italia showroom in London in 2004 to accompany the ATHOS table with its SOLO chairs upholstered in fabric. The piece is elevated by a silver metal base which, particularly on one of the left rear legs, has multiple fine scratches that are not visibly bothersome unless zoomed in on a photo of that area (see photo). The left side of the piece has been repaired by a cabinetmaker in the lower middle, and on the right side at the upper back (see photos). There are a few inconsequential superficial marks or small scratches (see photos). Inside, which consists of 2 compartments, left and right, each with an adjustable shelf, the left compartment with 2 hinged doors has a whitish mark (like a scratch but not as it is on the surface) measuring 5cm on the right in the lower middle, on the left there is a stain (still on the surface) with a whitish halo in the upper middle, and again a sort of whitish "scratch" on the inside of the left hinged door. These whitish marks are due to the white packing tape that the movers used to secure certain elements. No attempt has been made to clean or try to remove these marks as they are inside the piece. In the right compartment, the movers lost the shelf but the metal supports are still there (see photo).
