Magnificent coffee/tea service from the Villeroy & Boch factory, period of the Franco-Saar Economic Union (circa 1947-1956). An iconic design from the 1950s, sleek and elegant, in a highly sought-after old powder pink colour. The lot includes 22 pieces: 9 cups. 9 saucers. 1 large coffee/teapot. 1 milk jug. 1 sugar bowl with its lid. Overall in beautiful vintage condition. As is often the case with this 1950s production, the pieces show crazing of the glaze (fine lines under the glaze) which attests to their authenticity and age. See photos for condition.
