Turkish carpet smyrna early twentieth century. Carpet of smyrna, circa 1900 with red background. Decoration of geometric medallions in staggered patterns. Just like the so-called ushakk carpets, the smyrna carpets remain the most prized and sought after turkish carpets by collectors and dealers. Dimensions: 280 X 205 cm. Condition: abrache (color differences), general wear of wool, a flowerpot mark remains visible in an angle. The carpet is slightly across on one side. Professionally cleaned carpet.
