Sarreguemines barbotine cheese board

Charming little cheese board with a floral decoration in slight relief with pretty colors: sky blue, yellow and green on a caramel background. It comes from the Sarreguemines earthenware factory. According to the design of the stamp underneath, it would date from between 1920 and 1950, personally I lean more towards the end of this period. We also find this type of colorful floral decoration in relief on later Sarreguemines ceramics (70s-80s), I am offering one for sale here. This cheese board is in good general condition, no cracks, no chips, not even a chip but it does not hide some signs of its age: slight and barely visible cracks in the enamel and the metal handle, probably originally gilded, has lost its shine, it shows the patina of time, and is rather silver now. It measures 19.5 cm in diameter, 14 cm in height.
