Very beautiful farmhouse table from the early 19th century. A Burgundian model that was found in winegrowers' houses, it is made of cherry for the top and the base, and ash for the frieze, with four square-section legs in a slight taper and a brass-buttoned drawer in the apron. The legs have been, as with all tables of this lower era, raised (heightened to adapt the table to current heights). Width 193 cm, depth 73.5 cm, and height at the level of the top 75 cm (frieze height of 13 cm). Of very high quality with a superb honey patina revealing the passage of time (some natural marks of use on the top adding charm and authenticity), this table can accommodate up to 10 guests for good times with family or friends. Not to be missed!!!.
