Console / Golden wooden table in Regency / Louis XV style

Superb Regence / Louis XV style side table in carved gilded wood. Ornamental vocabulary — acanthus, shell, scrolls — typical of the Louis XV / Regence style, sculptural quality and sabre-shaped foot evoking the second half of the 18th century or the 19th century (Napoleon III era, a grand return to Rococo taste). Width 45 × 36 height X depth 26. Generous and well-proportioned format, ideal for a clock or a sculpture. Some losses in the gilding (see photos).
