Watercolor dahlias by Joseph Martin Duby

Watercolor by provençal artist joseph martin duby (1888 - 1975). This garden bouquet testifies to his deep love for nature, mixing summer colours and lights. Much of his life was devoted to the cultural and artistic life of the city of marseille, of which he was both a pupil and then director of the school of fine arts. He lived the end of his life in the city of auriol, which eventually erected a museum in his effigy.
