Gien sponge holder, "Lamballe" service in blue ironstone

A sponge holder from the Gien factory, part of the "Lamballe" pattern, made of white ironstone. It consists of a removable, round, hollow container with a drainage hole, decorated with a blue floral motif, and topped with another round, hollow container decorated in the same way. This sponge holder, stamped on the back, is in very good condition, with no cracks or chips. Some discoloration and crazing of the glaze due to age give it an authentic patina. Ideal for the bathroom or kitchen, it will add a vintage touch to your décor.
