Discover a mythical set of Brazilian design: the TIJUCA living room, designed by Jean Gillon for Italma in the 1970s. This model, one of the most iconic of the architect-designer, combines timeless elegance with artisanal craftsmanship. Acquired in 1976, first-hand, this set is stamped and bears the same serial number (7086) on each piece, ensuring its authenticity and provenance. The structure is made of solid rosewood. The cushions have been completely redone in full-grain leather, dyed through the thickness in the same bath, by an experienced upholsterer. The restoration has been carried out in accordance with original techniques and gives this set a new lease of life. Excellent overall condition: structure in perfect condition, soft and durable leather, intact rope suspension. Complete set of 4 pieces (one sofa, two armchairs, one ottoman), rare on the market. First-hand, purchased in 1976, never restored before this professional refurbishment. Stamped and numbered pieces, proof of authenticity.
