Elegant covered box or candy dish in Italian ceramic with refined floral decoration and fine gold leaf finishes. Inspired by the porcelain of the East India Company, it features a pattern of stylised peonies in shades of red, cobalt blue, and green, set against a delicate background of traditional clouds. Its flared square shape and pyramidal lid give it a highly decorative architectural appearance. Made in Italy in the 1970s, it is in impeccable condition, with no chips or cracks.
