Murano glass chandelier ice mid-century by Av Mazzega, Italy, 1970s

Mid-century Murano glass chandelier by AV Mazzega, made in Italy in the 1970s. Although the lamp is not signed, the shape and materials, blown Murano glass and chrome, are typical of Mazzega. AV Mazzega was founded in 1946 by Angelo Vittorio Mazzega and collaborated with renowned designers. The glass parts are made of thick blown Murano glass with stunning colours. The lamp requires 3 E14 bulbs (not included) and is suitable for all countries. The chandelier weighs 4 kg and the metal has a natural patina. Total height is 80 cm. One glass has a small discreet crack. Width: 32 cm, Height: 25 cm. Good vintage condition. Light wear consistent with age and use.
