Authentic and spectacular high-end ceiling light (or wall sconce) from the famous German manufacturer Staff Leuchten, dating from the 1960s/1970s. An absolute icon of Mid-Century Modern design and the Space Age era. This is the extremely rare XXL version with a diameter of 49 cm, a large-scale collector's model that is very difficult to find on the market (standard versions typically measure between 20 and 30 cm). Design & Materials: Beautiful and heavy circular diffuser made of very thick pressed moulded glass. Its textured surface creates stunning geometric light refraction effects. Characteristic serrated edge with vertical tubes of the brand. Cylindrical base in black lacquered metal on the outside and white on the inside to maximise reflection. Electricity: Completely refurbished for total safety and immediate use. The plate has 5 original ceramic sockets arranged in a star pattern (for standard E27 screw bulbs, ideally clear filament LEDs). Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The glass is impeccable, with no cracks or chips. Some slight normal signs of use on the metal base, invisible once the light fixture is installed. Dimensions: Diameter: 49 cm|Thickness: ~12 cm.
