Dimensions: 200x120 cm. Identification: Traditional Caucasian rug, more precisely a Fachralo Kazak type rug (or heavily inspired by Georgian/Armenian productions from the South Caucasus). Decor: Two large polygonal medallions in the shape of double arrows or eight-pointed stars, flanked by stylised geometric rosettes with eight petals. Dating: Early 20th century (around 1900 - 1920) Manufacture: The weaving shows a beautiful density with Ghiordes knots (Turkish or symmetrical knot).
