This table comes from the prestigious Lacoste estate, along with half a dozen pieces of furniture that I am selling at the same time. This couple of intellectuals furnished their home at La Boutique Danois (Avenue de Friedland, on the Champs Elysées) in the 1960s with exceptional Scandinavian furniture in which they lived their entire lives. More details on my blog: Lacoste estate. Rare model of a coffee table stamped PB for Paul Bachmann (publisher) and Made In Denmark, with three small pyrographed snowflakes underneath. It is immediately distinguished by its unusual dimensions: very long, it can easily serve as a bench or a side table in a hallway; it also features stunning black metalised legs that end in solid teak parts. The contrast effect is striking! The top is thick, solid, made of high-quality teak, and has ideal proportions. An uncommon piece, which has some usual signs of wear but remains in excellent overall condition. The top, which was quite dirty, has been sanded and oiled as it should be. L: 185 cm. D: 49.5 cm. H: 43 cm. Thickness of the top: 4.5 cm. My prices are firm, thank you. Delivery possible to your doorstep in the Île-de-France for 40 euros.
