Large dining table known as “tulip” dating from the late 1960s, in the spirit of iconic American modernist creations. It consists of a circular top made of Carrara marble and a central base in white lacquered aluminium, offering a fluid and timeless silhouette. The top, with a diameter of 137.5 cm, comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. It is distinguished by the finesse of its thickness and the quality of its marble, with elegant and natural veining. It has been fully restored and protected with a wax finish, limiting liquid absorption and facilitating everyday use. The central base, in white lacquered aluminium, ensures perfect stability while freeing up leg space, a signature of tulip design. The whole presents a very high quality of execution. Although no stamp is present under the base, this table can reasonably be attributed to a quality production in the spirit of Knoll, considering its proportions, materials, and finish. In very good overall condition, with slight discreet signs of use.
