Daybed sofa in walnut and curly fabric, jitona edition

Sofa with secondary sleeping function, called daybed, edited in walnut wood in czechoslovakia in the 1960s by the company jitona. The latter was not the only one to manufacture this type of sofa at the time: tatra nabytok, interier praha, cesky nabytek, to name only the largest also had this type of product in their catalog... But, undoubtedly, the design and manufacturing choices (walnut wood) made jitona the most elegant of all czech daybeds of the time. Our craftsmen (upholsterer and cabinetmaker) have carefully restored this furniture. All visible wood surfaces, which were originally varnished (very) shiny have been mattified by our cabinetmaker, highlighting the drawings of the wood. This sofa is therefore in exceptional condition. The sleeping area is 136 X 196 cm.
