Antique high bistro stool in curved wood with a floral decorated top, Thonet style – around 1900

An old high bistro stool made of curved wood, in the spirit of Thonet productions, dating back to the early 1900s. Its circular seat features a floral decoration with sinuous lines, inspired by Art Nouveau, contrasting with the darker shade of the top. The four slightly curved legs are reinforced by two circles of curved wood. In very good condition, rarely found for an object of this age, with a warm patina and some signs of wear consistent with its age, without any apparent structural defects. Note: the visible joint on one of the reinforcing circles corresponds to the end of the curved wood, thinned and assembled at an angle. It is not a crack.
